Madden NFL 2000 is a football video game created by EA Tiburon. The game was released by EA Sports in 1999 for platforms including PlayStation, Nintendo 64, and Microsoft Windows. A version for Macintosh OS was released by Aspyr Media. Also, marking it as the first football game ever adapted for Mac. Madden NFL 2000 is classified as a football video game. It represents the fourth 3D installment in the Madden NFL series, Also, the second game in the franchise not to feature John Madden exclusively on the cover in North America (the only other instance being the cover of Madden NFL ’95). In most game cover versions, Madden is prominently displayed in the foreground, accompanied by a recognizable image of Barry Sanders in an action graphic in the background. The European PAL edition showcases only Dorsey Levens on its cover. The introductory video in the CD-ROM versions features an unnamed track by rapper Ludacris.
