The history of the Madden NFL 2000 by EA Sports
Madden NFL 2000 is categorized as a football video game. It is the fourth 3D installment in the Madden NFL Gameplay series and the second game in the franchise that does not feature John Madden exclusively on the cover in North America (the only other instance being Madden NFL '95). Typically, Madden is prominently featured on the cover, alongside a well-known image of Barry Sanders in an action shot in the background. The European PAL edition only displays Dorsey Levens on its cover. The introductory video in the CD-ROM versions includes an unnamed track by rapper Ludacris.
