Madden NFL 2000 is a football video game developed by EA Tiburon. It was launched by EA Sports in 1999 for various platforms like PlayStation, Nintendo 64, and Microsoft Windows. Aspyr Media also released a version for Macintosh OS, making it the first football game ever adapted for Mac. This video is shown on the Macintosh.

Madden NFL 2000 is categorized as a football video game. It is the fourth 3D installment in the Madden NFL Gameplay series and the second game in the franchise that does not feature John Madden exclusively on the cover in North America (the only other instance being Madden NFL '95). Typically, Madden is prominently featured on the cover, alongside a well-known image of Barry Sanders in an action shot in the background. The European PAL edition only displays Dorsey Levens on its cover. The introductory video in the CD-ROM versions includes an unnamed track by rapper Ludacris.
