Richland Hills Horse Farm

Richland Hills Farm

These are photos from my Travel Trip to Kentucky. Richland Hills Horse Farm was one of the destinations for a client on this particular trip. Below is some additional information on the sale of the Richland Hills Horse Farm.

The former Richland Hills/Wafare Farm property on Old Frankfort Pike has been sold and renamed Endeavor Farm and will be operated by M&T Equine Ventures.  Endeavor Farm will specialize in high-quality Thoroughbred care with seasonal and year-round boarding and sales preparation for all major U.S. horse sales.

Endeavor Farm and M&T Equine Ventures is a partnership between veteran Georgetown, Kentucky horseman Terry Nickell and longtime southern California trainer Mark Tsagalakis.

Nickell, 54, has been the farm manager at Wafare/Richland Hills for 21 years.  His father, Harry Schmidt, managed Spendthrift Farm from 1952-1976.  Tsagalakis, 50, has been training on the southern California circuit for over 20 years and maintains a stable of 10 homebreds.

Endeavor Farm will continue to stand the stallion Greeley’s Conquest, a multiple stakes-winning son of Mr. Greeley.

“This is a proud moment for Mark and me,” said Nickell.  “I have been on this property for many years, and Mark has boarded horses with us for much of that time.  To have the opportunity to continue here in partnership with Mark is a dream come true.  We look forward to continuing the level of excellent equine care that this farm has been noted for over two decades, with the likes of Dynaformer and Peppers Pride residing here.”
